Muse Botanica

This rug was inspired by a pattern from the 1960s found in the factory archive at Kasthall . The design process included picking apart, analysing and reinterpreting an old weave structure to make it suitable for today. Vintage woven textiles and samples are an endless source of inspiration. The medallion shaped pattern woven with three shuttles creates a chunky texture in rich colours.
